Nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, 45 minutes drive from Dar Assarou (29 km by car or local taxi), the luxury Ouirgane Spa was created 30 years ago by a pioneer in the Moroccan luxury hotel industry. In 1985, this nature enthusiast decided to share his involvement by designing a unique place where one could rest and regain strength, drawing from local resources and the Berber tradition.

This hammam ceremony is inspired by Berber traditions where each plant and each gesture is imbued with benefits and symbolism. Exfoliation with black henna soap, Ghassoul body wrap with aromatic plants, hair mask with Fig palm from Barbary, "tabrima" with plants from our aromatic garden, decoction of purifying Myrtle to rinse, misting on the body of Argan oil.

Transfers by local taxi from Dar Assarou to the Luxury Ouirgane Spa and back can be arranged by Dar Assarou for 450 MAD (£36) for up to 4 people.
